Kansas City was blessed this weekend with Skateboarding Legend Lance Mountain for a Art show held at ours Skate-Art gallery in the Crossroads Art District of downtown Kansas City Missouri.  Hundreds of area skateboarders and classic skate art afictionados came out in force to meet the great Mr Mountain.  Lance held a impromptu skate session at the Penn Valley Skateboard park 3 blocks from escapist.  After the session the art show started and the Sales began.  Good times were had by all and Lance talked for hours to all the locals.  We couldn’t be more thrilled to host the event, and can’t wait to have Lance back again.

Lance wanted to go skate after we got done setting up the art so we did what any skater owned and skater operated shop would do. We locked the doors and went to the park.

Suicidal Doughboy was a favorite for sure!

Nike SB series; BA, Koston, and Lance. These were all on shirts when the shoes came out.  Rumor has it a certain local professional skateboarder purchases these at the show….

Sad plants for dayssss!!
